How to delete your data or remove your GreyRock account entirely

GreyRock gives you full control over your data. There are two distinct options depending on what you want to remove.

Option 1 — Delete All Data (Keep Your Account)

This option permanently deletes all incidents, notes, settings, and backed-up data associated with your account. Your login credentials are preserved so you can continue using the app.

What gets deleted

  • All incident logs and notes
  • All app settings and preferences
  • All cloud-backed data

What is kept

  • Your account login (email and credentials)
  • Your active subscription (if any)

How to do it

  1. Open the GreyRock app
  2. Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete All Data
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted

This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Delete My Account (Full Removal)

This option permanently deletes your account, login credentials, all backed-up data, and all local app data including incidents and settings. This is a complete and irreversible removal of everything associated with your GreyRock account.

What gets deleted

  • Your account login (email and credentials)
  • All incident logs, notes, and documentation
  • All app settings and preferences
  • All cloud-backed data
  • Your entitlement record with our subscription provider

Before you begin — cancel your subscription first

Because subscriptions are billed directly by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), you must cancel your active subscription before requesting account deletion. GreyRock cannot cancel your store subscription on your behalf.

  • Apple App Store: Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions, find GreyRock, and tap Cancel Subscription.
  • Google Play: Open the Play Store → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, find GreyRock, and tap Cancel.

Once your subscription shows as cancelled or expired, you can proceed with account deletion.

How to delete your account

  1. Cancel your subscription using the steps above (if you have one)
  2. Open the GreyRock app
  3. Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete My Account
  5. The app will verify your subscription is cancelled before proceeding
  6. Confirm the deletion when prompted

Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You will be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.
